breaking into and having a trumpet jam session in an abandoned church in the dead of night
after traveling all around the world New Orleans is still one of my absolute most adored cities of all time. creatively speaking its a ten out of ten- as a city its nothing but art. Visual art, musical art, culinary art, to dance, writing, and everything in-between. and everything done damn well regardless of where it falls on the price spectrum. you can have a ritzy night in some of americas best bars or grab a to go Bloody Mary and a cheap poboy and mosey the streets and have just as beautiful of an experience. it attracts the most incredibly diverse group of locals and architecturally its a dream. its a bigger city then most realize with a lot to discover. historically rich, culturally bountiful & and some of the most kind, colorful genuine people I've ever met- its the kind of place that allows you to just be. The birthplace of voodoo and jazz- I mean come on. Go & feed into your hedonistic tendencies in every which way followed by learning a whole lot of history about this one of a kind American port city and get ready to get your heart stooolen. you'll never be the same.
